Section view tables are created at the same time of Section view creation, or later, through Sample line group properties/Section views/Change Volume Tables…
Using the “Change Volume tables” dialog, user can:
Add tables of specific type and style to section views
Edit table style, which include the column headers, column contents & formulas, table title…
Edit tables position on section views
There are 2 types of Section view volume tables: (1) Total volume tables and (2) Material tables. We focus on (2) Material tables
Hint: Do not confuse with the Analyze\Volumes and Materials panel. The tables created from that panel are Summary tables.
The value types that can be reported in a table are limited. For material, the reportable values are:
- Material name
- Material area (Material Length is not reported)
- Material incremental volume (volume between this and previous cross-section)
- Material cumulative volume (sum of volume from first cross-section to this section)
(Material term here means: all materials defined in the selected Material List)
No custom formulas are accepted here, all the material area multiply factor, material area combining.. must be defined in Material List.
Tables are not editable nor exportable
