About NTCL Soft

NTCL Soft is an independent developer of utility tools for Autodesk® AutoCAD® and Autodesk® Civil 3D®.

The main focus is extracting, editing, and synchronizing CAD data using Microsoft® Excel®, and customizing Civil 3D® cross-section workflows based on practical engineering needs.

AutoCAD and Excel Data Exchange

NTCL Soft provides tools for two-way data exchange between AutoCAD and Excel, including:

• Reading and updating block attributes from Excel

• Exporting block data to worksheets for batch editing

• Synchronizing changes back to CAD drawings

These tools are intended for batch processing, where manual editing is slow and error-prone.

Sheet Set and Drawing Data Management

NTCL Soft also focuses on Sheet Set data exchange between AutoCAD and Excel, allowing users to:

• Export Sheet Set information to Excel

• Edit Sheet Set data in a worksheet

• Apply updates back to AutoCAD

This approach makes it easier to manage large drawing sets and keep metadata consistent.

Civil 3D Cross Section Customization

For Autodesk Civil 3D, NTCL Soft develops tools for cross section customization and automation, including:

• Quantity calculation from cross sections

• Exporting quantity data

• Batch sorting and editing of cross section data

These tools are designed to work with existing Civil 3D projects and standard workflows.

Custom Subassembly Development (.NET)

NTCL Soft develops custom Civil 3D subassemblies using .NET, allowing engineers to:

• Define custom cross-section components

• Control geometry and parameters programmatically

• Adapt corridor behavior to specific design requirements

This provides flexibility beyond standard Civil 3D subassemblies.

General Design Approach

All tools are lightweight, easy to use, run inside AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and provide a graphical interface with saved session settings and multi-language support.

NOTES:

1. Beta update installers are provided for NTCL Soft's customers during waiting for an official update. Normally, approval from Autodesk App store takes 1 month or more;

2. 30-day trial is auto activated when users download apps (plug-ins) from Autodesk App store.  Users are required to login Autodesk parent application to run 30-day-trial apps.  If not, apps only work in 7 days.

3. The downloads use bit.ly intermediate link for counting number of downloads;

4. User should check my digital signature before installing;

5. If users don't have Admin right, follow the instruction in this Clip : App install WITHOUT Admin right to install apps.
