In previous article AUTODESK App Store MOST DOWNLOADS, we have discovered 10 most-download Autodesk Apps. Surprisingly, only one App for AutoCAD appeared at the bottom of the top 10 downloads. Today we will learn more about most downloaded Apps for AutoCAD only.
Please note that the term "AutoCAD" here refer to AutoCAD and all vertical products (Civil 3D, Map 3D, Electrical, Architecture, Plant 3D, MEP, Mechanical and even Advanced Steel). In some case, the App may run in AutoCAD LT 2024+ (for example, App Total Length which based on Lisp script)

You can pick CAD-Earth commands from a toolbar, the screen menu, or the command prompt. Automatic command loading in each AutoCAD session and extensive help in each step.
Pros: Free.
Cons: Functions are limited: a limit of 500 points when importing a terrain mesh from Google Earth™. Only 10 objects can be imported to or exported to Google Earth™. Also, all images imported to or exported to Google Earth™ have ‘CAD-Earth Demo Version’ text watermark lines. The CAD-Earth Registered Version can process any number of points and objects and the images don’t have text watermark lines.

Cons: SKP file format version 2017 and later will not be supported on Win32.SKP 2021 and later version can be only imported using AutoCAD 2022 and later release. SketchUp backup (*.SKB) files are not supported. SKP import sometimes fails without explanation. Model maybe exploded and scale may be messed up.

TotalLength is a universal plug-in and can be used in any field of design where such calculations are needed - for the total length of walls, fences, cables, pipes, pavements, etc.
The dialog box makes the app intuitive to work with, so there will be no need to spend a lot of time studying it. The result of the total length calculations is displayed in an editable field and is copied to the clipboard for further use.
Pros: Free. Easy to use. Coded in Lisp, which may be compatible with any CAD versions. Just manually "Appload" the Lisp file for use in AutoCAD LT 2024+ or AutoCAD 2012-
