AutoCAD OLE object
Print Quality Options
While printing Excel OLE worksheets in AutoCAD, you may notice that sometimes the result is good, sometimes is not.
The reason why printing result varies may be because of Plot Quality option of OLE object
*
There are 3 Plot Quality options:
1. Monochrome
2. Low Graphics
3. High Graphics
Most user will hastily choose option 3.High Graphics without looking at the option's comment in brackets:
- Monochrome (e.g. Spreadsheet)
- Low Graphics (e.g. color text & pie charts)
- High Graphics (e.g. photograph)
Unfortunately, High Graphics option is often the worst option when printing a black & white Excel OLE worksheet
*
The recommended Plot Quality option is:
- Monochrome for black & white Excel OLE worksheet
- Low Graphics for COLOR Excel OLE worksheet
