Enhanced section views creation
PLUS
PLUS
This tool aims at maximize Corridor precision at each section view, while minimize Corridor build time.
Have you ever seen a section view whose toe of slope does not stop at the existing ground. This error is due to corridor is not calculated at the exact section view station (or sample line station). Data is interpolated between 2 adjacent sampled corridor frequencies, which may produce error if existing ground has major changes between those frequencies.
An usual solution to this error is to choose small Corridor frequency interval (eg: 2m or 6ft...). This way sometimes works, but often consume too much time and computer resources.
A better way is to insert additional stations into Corridor to force Corridor to be sampled /computed at exact stations of section views (aka: stations of sample lines)
This Tool will help automate that task by reading stations from Sample line group(s) and add them to Corridor. Multi alignments, multi Corridors, multi sample line groups can be processed at one click. Data referenced (DREF) Corridor is also supported.

This update fix a critical bug in license module and add a command to automatically insert additional stations to Corridor frequency.

PLUS VERSION unique features
Support both Imperial drawings and Metric drawings
Ability to create section view Layout for individual section views; ready for plotting or creating sheet set;
Ability to insert section view Quantity (material, volume) tables;
Ability to hide band set title from the second column onwards;
Ability to select an arbitrary set of sample lines to draw section views (sample lines in between can be omitted);
Ability to quick load the last configuration, including sample line list;
App dialog is now floating, user can interact with other Civil 3D objects while App is opened;
This App will help ease the section view task by adding the following features:
Section view Band set title can be hidden to save space. In some case, paper consumption may reduce up to 50%;
Precise Section views layout: Number of section view rows and columns per sheet is fixed by users;
New method for determining elevation range: Elevation range is now implicitly set through the minimum distance below & above sections inside a section view;
Command configuration is saved and can be reloaded or transferred to another user;
Batch create section view quantity table (material/volume table);
Batch create section layout, ready for section sheets
App creates Individual section views, NOT section view group. The following pros & cons of individual section views created by this App should be aware of:
Pros:
Each section view can be manually moved to another position. Position not changed after an update event (eg: annotation scale changed, nearby section view deleted);
Elevation range is implicitly calculated for each section view & recalibration for a section view row; which can minimize blanks & save plot paper;
Cons:
Section views offset range should not be less than the left & right Offset value of sample lines;
When annotation scale change, section views should be deleted and re-created;
Section view bandset cannot be replaced after creation (a critical error will occur if doing so).
The procedures of section views creation, in brief, can be divided into 5 steps:
Select alignment, sample line group & sample lines to draw section views;
Set the number of section views per page, row & column gap, paper size;
Set the minimum distance above and below each section view's sections;
Set the label set and section style/ code set style for sections;
Set the section view bandset;
Click "Draw individual section views" to see results.
Previous settings are saved on exit & can be reloaded by "Reload last state" button
This App works with Autodesk Civil 3D 64-bit versions 2016 and above.
Section views created a group in Individual section views category. Do NOT change section view Band set after created.
